Convicted Killer Wants State to pay for sex change BOSTON (AP) – A man sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife, a federal judge asked the state to pay for a sex-change operation in order to refuse on the grounds that it amounts Operation on cruel and unusual punishment. He should be placed exactly where he was when he received his sentence – for men. He forfeited his rights when someone else's life – a withdrawal of their highest Law. I would say that death by strangulation is a rather cruel and unusual punishment for his wife. Strangling is a terrible, painful, slow way to die. It is not the responsibility of the state treat for him to handle payments for non-essential operations, or to him with kid gloves.
