I plan to machine.What one vintage'82 arcade 's re the best way, the PCB-board computer clean?
The computer boards (and wood cabinet) have a white mold on them to be stored for years in a warehouse. I would like to remove and clean them without damaging the electronic components.
First, before you even tap on the board ensure that you wear a grounding strap, so you do not harm, the components with static electricity. I have found that the best thing to isopropal boards can be cleaned with alcohol and a small brush. Thus, for plastic connectors to be careful, because the Alcohol can weaken it.
